Each charity below will be featured at Dealeo Daily Deals Atlanta, where Dealeo subscribers can opt to add on a $1 donation to their charity of their choice as they are taking advantage of the special deals & discounts we will be offering. Our hope is people are saving money, so why not donate a portion of your savings to reinvest in the local community!

We hope you’ll read about each of the selected charities below and choose one (or more!) to donate to when you redeem your first Dealeo!

Bert’s Big Adventure
Bert’s Big Adventure is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to allow children with a chronic or terminal illness ages 5 to 12 years of age that prove financial need and live in The Bert Show radio listening area, to experience a magical weekend with their families at Walt Disney World as our guests.

Each year, Bert’s Big Adventure will escort these children to Walt Disney World with their parents or guardians and the other members of their family household. Because of their special needs and financial strain, this is an experience that many of these children and families would not be able to know without the help of Bert’s Big Adventure.

Their vision is to charter a flight with these children, their families, and a medical staff to Walt Disney World. Upon arrival in Florida, Bert’s Big Adventure will provide hotel accommodations, Walt Disney World park passes, transportation to and from the park, VIP events and meal coupons.

In addition to the trip to Walt Disney World, Bert’s Big Adventure also provides the children certain additional charitable services that are necessary to the fulfillment of its charitable purpose. These additional charitable services are provided subsequent to any prior year’s trip and are available only to children and their families that have participated in the Walt Disney World trip.

CURE Childhood Cancer
Did you know, only 2% of federal funding for cancer research is directed at solving cancers that impact our children?

Founded in 1975, CURE Childhood Cancer is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through research, education and support of patients and their families. Since its establishment as a grass-roots organization, CURE has focused its efforts on improving the care, quality of life, and survival rate of children with cancer.

The founders, parents and a dedicated pediatric oncologist, joined forces to support laboratory research that would translate into immediate care for children with cancer.

Since that time, CURE has raised millions of dollars to fund cutting edge research at the Aflac Cancer Center Blood Disorders Service at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine.

Through innovative programming, CURE also provides support for stricken families, providing them comfort and support during their time of devastating need.

Make-A-Wish Foundation
Since its beginning in 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has expanded into 69 chapters within the the United States and has 27 international affiliates. The Foundation is most proud of the fact that it has been able to grant more than 150,000 wishes and continues to grant more each day. The Foundation’s mission of granting wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy has enabled it to make a difference in the life of children facing life threatening medical conditions and to make their greatest wishes come true.

Atlanta Humane Society
The Atlanta Humane Society – an Atlanta pet adoption center with a proven track record of helping the city’s homeless, abused, and neglected animals – offers many additional public-wide services, including a Canine Play Yard for potential adopters, spaying and neutering, dog training and educational programs, and a veterinary clinic. And, of course, unlike many other animal shelters around the country, the AHS never euthanizes because of space or time constraints. Every service or program at our animal charity is made possible by generous contributions to our many animal welfare charities and yearly fundraisers from the community.
